I am quickly becoming one of those people I used to hate — the kind who talked about their kids incessantly while I yawned. It wasn’t that I didn’t care, I just couldn’t relate to the small victories. The tiny moments that make up the life of this wondrous little being you brought into the world. I didn’t bring Cowboy into the world, but I’m proud of him just the same.
He has a beautiful, silky coat that’s just beginning to curl on the ends, per his breed. His pet name right now is “Tutu Butt,” because he looks like he’s quite literally wearing a tutu or lacy panties. He went through a paper shredding phase last week, but that seems mercifully over.
I introduced him to bones this week — big, arm-sized bones. At first he stood and barked at them, unsure how to eat these monstrosities, but he quickly rose to the task with great gusto. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll post an image of him with his bone.
In other news, I bought lights today and am feeling the urge to shoot again. So hopefully soon there’ll be something other than dog images around here.
