About the image
The moon rises above the M&O Railroad trestle on Oct. 20, 2007 in Northport, Ala. The wooden and steel truss bridge was build in 1898 for the Mobile and Ohio Railroad. At 135 feet high and 3,600 feet long, it is considered by many to be the country’s longest wooden trestle still in use. (Photo by Carmen K. Sisson/Cloudybright)
