I don’t know what this plant is, I found it along the trestle. Thistle maybe?
As a side note, I discovered yesterday that my images are very washed out in Firefox, so those of you using Firefox rarely see images the way I intended them. In fact, the only people who see the vibrant versions of images are people who use Apple’s Safari web browser, which I used to use. I’ve been disappointed with image quality since my switch to Firefox and now I know why.
Safari renders whatever color space the images were saved in, whether that’s Adobe RGB or sRGB. I make all my adjustments as Adobe RGB because it has more colors. But web use is mostly restricted to the smaller gamut sRGB. Of course this means nothing to you, and shouldn’t. From now on though, I will convert images to sRGB for the site. That way, I can be sure you see images the way I meant them. The difference in the trestle shot was striking.
Also, I’m making it a goal to post every day again. I used to enjoy it. I got a lot of pleasure from it. So I’ll try.
Hmmm. In retrospect, changing to sRGB didn’t seem to help. Must work on this.
