Tulsa, Oklahoma

The Mississippi Delta was a blur. Arkansas was a yawn. Oklahoma is friendly and that’s about all I can say. I’ve spent most of my time on the interstate, going to and from this story.

Meanwhile, I took a little time to eat this — a sausage cheeseburger and Spanish fries (fries with onions and jalapenos) — at a local favorite, Ron’s. And yes, I ate it all. And it was the best thing I’ve eaten in months.
