I’m an up-down girl alright. Anyone who knows me can tell you that. Have been since the day I was born.
I’m also probably the only narcissist in the world with a devastatingly low self-esteem.
So to that end, I’m working on a new project. A lot of Flickrites have been taking one self-portrait a day for 365 days, and it seemed like a good idea.
For one thing, I’m bored stiff with my work right now. For another, I’m trying to get comfortable with the new camera. And lastly, I’m trying to learn to like the good body parts enough to stop abusing the rest of them.
What I will NOT do is use this as a new way to torment myself with what I am not. If I can see a smile I think is pretty or a sweep of bangs that takes my breath away or a nice set of teeth or a pretty bit of cleavage, maybe I will think twice about things that are bad for me.
And no. I won’t bore you guys with every one of the portraits. 🙂
