Mobile, Alabama
It’s funny how just the smell, the warmth, of a Barnes and Noble can flood you with happiness. From Boston to Baton Rouge, the city is irrelevant — if I can reach that coffee comfort cradle of civilization, I know I’ll be ok. Sucking down a peppermint mocha latte, telecommuting as I finish my story for the Monitor, it doesn’t matter that it’s another gray, dreary day. Curled up by a window, blasting my music, I’m home.
As for the pic, it was taken Christmas Eve at my grandmother’s house. You either get it, or you don’t.
