Just fooling around outside today. Haven’t felt too inspired to shoot lately, but the weather is really nice. Something about this time of year, no longer summer, not yet fall — it leaves me rootless, unsettled, not quite sure what I should be doing.

September and October are iffy, down times for me. I don’t know why. I just know that I’ve burned a lot of bridges during these tepid weeks. Sometimes I really wish someone would scoop me up, hug me tightly, and take the matches out of my hands.
