Boston, Massachusetts
The photographs were taken 20 months and 1,244 miles apart. An entire universe lies beneath the pixels of each. I’m back in Tuscaloosa now, and Boston is a distant dream.
I need to shoot. I’d feel better if I’d shoot some, so expect more frequent updates over the next few weeks. I promise nothing mind-blowing or even original. Just me, ironing out the kinks in my head, sorting through stuff. It wouldn’t be cloudybright without a few clouds anyway. So let the rain fall. See if I care. I’ll spit in the wind — shoot everything that moves. And if the rain’s still falling when I’m done, then I’ll shoot a little harder. Shoot a little better.
There’s more than one way to run, and believe me, I know them all.
