Boston, Massachusetts
I’ve spent a lot of time sitting on Long Wharf at night, watching the boats bob on the harbor, making up stories to go with the planes taking off at Logan Airport.
Of everything I will miss about Boston, these moments sitting on the big rocks — still warm from the afternoon sun — will be among the moments missed most. I was at peace here, looking up at the sky, feeling connected to the entire universe by that sliver of star-heavy blackness. And so this image — blurry, noisy, hastily composed, filled with hot pixels — will always be somewhat special to me.
The hourglass has been flipped and the sands can’t be stopped. Before I know it, time will be up.
