Yeah, I know. I should write something dreamy and poetic (like how breaking bread with someone you love is the closest thing to prayer you can get). Or angsty and melancholic (like how today marked 21 days without Boogie, and it’s still harder than I ever imagined). Or techie and impressive (like how my composition sucks, but I used a White Lightning and an SB-26 so leave me alone).
Truthfully, it’s almost 11 p.m. and I am dead tired. I woke up at 4 a.m. and didn’t go back to sleep. My eyes are blurring to the point that I can’t see my screen. Besides, the witching hour is upon me. That’s right, today is day two of an overall life improvement plan. And a big part of that plan involves being in bed by 11 p.m. I can read until 11:30 p.m. if I must, but then it’s lights out.
Other goals?
Awake and at my desk by 7 a.m.
A healthy breakfast, a light lunch, and an ok supper.
Daily shooting whether I want to or not.
Reading something deeper than a magazine.
And other stuff.
Four minutes till bedtime. With any luck, I’ll be asleep soon.
