I absolutely hate having my portrait taken. Always have.
As a result, there are very few photographs of me in existence since adulthood. I don’t like the way they lay everything out in the open, betray emotional truths I’d just as soon keep hidden. But every time I shoot one, I learn something about myself — catch a glimpse of my inner state at the moment.
So. This is it. September 2005.
