Today has been one of those up, down, up, down, up again kind of days that is so emotionally exhausting that I am sort of beyond words at this point. It’s 3 a.m. and I am too keyed up to sleep and too tired to work. So much to say and yet — nothing can be said. Not really.
Sometimes you have to hit the bottom to find your feet. Sometimes you have to lose everything to find out what you’ve really got.
I am not sure where I am going, but I do know where I have been. The only thing I can do now is keep putting one foot in front of the other, stepping out in blind faith.
It has to work. It has to work because nothing else has. It has to work because I don’t know what else to do. It has to work because I need it to work like I have never needed anything else in my life. It has to work because I have come too far to give up now. It has to work because failure is not an option.
It doesn’t have to be pretty. It just has to work.
