I feel like I’m walking the same tracks over and over.
Some days are color and some days are black and white, but every day starts out as a blank picture card and ends up as the same old familiar frame.
I have no one to blame but myself. I am the one who chooses the moment. I am the one who presses the trigger. I am the one who writes the script. I am the one who mixes the light with the dark and shapes it into either a masterpiece or a spectacular failure. I am the one who keeps lying down in front of the same trains.
And I am the one who knows all too well that the best image I will ever take could far too easily end up being the one I never took.
Music: Hit the Switch by Bright Eyes (lyrics)
Pic of the day: “Yellowstone Elk 2” by Brooks at Fauxtoblog.
