Yes, I am well aware that many people in the photoblogging community consider posts of cats to be somewhat trite. Therefore in my defense I will say that I have three very good reasons for posting cat photographs from time to time: 1). I am attempting to build my feline archives so that I might approach a stock agency eventually; 2). I have seven live-in models, and no, this is not one of them; and 3). I think there is something to be said for photographing things you enjoy, whether they are considered “worthy” or not.

I am happy. I have money in the bank, good friends, and a new client. Life is pretty good, and if that’s not reason enough to post a light-hearted photo, then I don’t know what is.
