Birmingham, Alabama
Only I could drive 60 miles to the zoo and come back with a photograph of a beaver which I could have found in any Alabama swamp.
Nicholas and I took our annual trip to the Birmingham Zoo yesterday and spent some time wandering around the trendy Mountain Brook area of the city. It rained all day, which made things kind of cold and dreary, but rain is always more bearable when shared with someone you love.
I am a lucky girl in so many ways.
