It has been a while since I posted a cat picture, so I thought maybe no one would mind. This is a familiar sight as I drive up to my apartment each day. Sometimes there are little kitty faces pressed against every window, and sometimes there are just one or two.

In this case, I managed to catch Zolby giving Rusty an affectionate lick on the head before they noticed me standing on the porch and started vying for my attention like the furry children that they are.

It’s nice to know that someone is home waiting for you. Nice to know that someone cares if you return. Nice to know that someone can’t wait to see you again. Even if it’s only a cat. Or two. Or three. Or seven.
