It was freezing cold when I took this picture of downtown Tuscaloosa this evening, but I was smart — I bundled up with a scarf and ear muffs, only to discover that I have no gloves. None. I have owned gloves in the past, but for some reason I no longer seem to have a pair. Considering that I also do not have a remote cable release (the one I ordered on eBay turned out to be a sham, but I got my money back) my fingers got very cold during the required 30-second exposure.
The temperature was around 39 degrees and is expected to drop into the teens tonight. The weather forecast is predicting possible snow flurries for Friday night, but I’ve heard this before. I’ll wait until I actually see the white stuff before I get excited. It truly is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, even here in Alabama.
