I thought it was about time that I posted a photo of my beloved cat, Boogie, who will turn 13 in November. People may say that I post too many photos of cats, but I think I am completely entitled considering that I have seven of them and they are my only children. On top of that though, I really, really love shooting cats, not just mine. I have hundreds of cat photos sitting in my stock library, just waiting for the day when I can find a use for them.
Honestly, I think sometimes I could be very happy just being a cat photographer, especially if I could make a decent living doing it. So there you have it — my guilty little secret. If you’d like to pay me to indulge this little pastime, please feel free to email me. Meanwhile, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new textbook being published this month by Harcourt Education which will feature a photo from my “Cats Outdoors” series.
