I wasn’t going to post this photo at all because I am not very happy with it, but then I decided that I had made a commitment to take and post at least one new photo every day and that’s what I’m going to do. If I’m not happy with it, that’s my fault. I should have shot something better.

I think the thing that disturbs me about this photo is the lack of ears. Ears are such a big part of the cat — they just look weird without ears. The other problem with this photo is that first of all, it’s a cat and I think I should shoot cats a little less; and second of all, it’s Zolby again and while he is cute, I have six other equally cute cats.

I experimented with taking some photos of his very furry feet, but they didn’t yield much. I’d love to shoot them with a macro lens, but alas I don’t have one. So, that’s the photo for the day. I am going to the fair tonight, so hopefully that will yield something more creative.
