Still playing with the macro lens. I am not sure that this photo gained anything by being macro, although the porcupine texture of the hair is somewhat interesting. I have wanted to make this shot of my cat Boogie for a while though because he has such beautiful eyes. His right eye in particular is unique because of the tiny brown speck in it. I can get lost in his eyes sometimes, just gazing at the swirls of gold and honey.

This was just a quick “grab shot” because I have been extremely busy lately so I have not had the time to properly sit down and get a good feel for this lens. At the moment I have no shoots scheduled until tomorrow night (high school football) so I hope to get the chance to play a little longer and come up with better stuff.
