I’ve always been fascinated by the secret world of reflections, but I rarely shoot them. As a freelance photographer, it is all too easy for me to get caught up in the day-to-day business of making a living as a photographer and forget the joy of shooting solely for myself. On this particular morning, I decided to try to rediscover the exhilaration that comes with shooting whatever strikes my fancy, whether I think I can sell it or not.

In this case, it turned out even better than I had hoped. This window catches my eye every morning, but it usually reflects a wall. Today, a fire-engine red Super Sport was parked on the street outside, adding an unexpected splash of color to the photo as well as my day. Will anyone else ever see it beyond this website? Probably not, and you know what… I’m okay with that.
